By going the extra mile with your customers, tips will start rolling in! The Seattle Times is currently recruiting RELIABLE and DEDICATED Independent Contractors for newspaper routes.
Our customers look forward to receiving their paper 365 days/year - rain, sleet or snow.
As a contractor, you have the right to personally perform the deliveries and have the ability to arrange & compensate a subcontractor to complete deliveries in your absence.
Subscribers expect to receive their paper in the early morning hours between 2:
30 AM & 5:
30 AM.
No collections involved.
A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are required by law if you plan to make deliveries by motor route; a cell phone may be helpful for navigating at night.
If you are unable to perform, or choose not to perform, you are contractually obligated to ensure performance by, for example, having reliable back up transportation or engaging a subcontractor to perform.
Contractors are compensated twice a month.
Your revenue potential is up to you! The more routes & papers you timely deliver pursuant to the customer's requests; the more money you will make! This is your opportunity to operate as your own boss with no micro-managers.
