Machinist / Machine Operator : shift 4am - 4:30 pm Friday - Sunday,

Job Description

Description of Work Performed:
1. Machine operators operate a wide variety of machines some of which are CNC mills and lathes, manual lathes, saw, hone, CNC and manual gear cutters and face & center machines.
2. Loads, unloads machines, deburr, and inspects parts.
3. Performs adjustment to machines, tool offsets, work coordinates, as allowed by team leader, uses ERP system to move parts to next work area.
4. Check and maintain the machine's systems, including daily check and regular maintenance of coolant levels, cooling fans, proper fluid levels in hydraulic and lubrication systems, ensure maintenance is performed according to Helac standards and frequency.
6. Maintain a clean work area and assists in departmental housekeeping.
7. Complies with safety procedures and company policies.
8. Report on machine utilization and efficiency.
9. Actively participates in company sponsored training programs.
10. Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.


Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required



  1. Ability to read blue prints, production packets and comprehend machine coordinates.


  2. Ability to routinely lift 35 lbs and occasionally up to 45 lbs.


  3. Ability to follow verbal and visual instructions and complete routine tasks that may be repetitive in nature.


  4. Must be able to work Overtime if requested.


  5. Note- you are working 36 hours and getting paid 40 hours.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
