Materials Mgr

Major Duties The Cylinder Division is looking for aMaterials Manager tosupport our Helac Business Unit. This position will be based at our Enumclaw, WAlocation. This position will providesupport and services in functional areas of Supply Chain including leading planning, purchasing, logistics, shipping, receiving andinventory functions. Partners with suppliers, business units, procurement, planners, I/T and other members of the leadership team to strategically planand coordinate the flow of materials and information from customers through order fulfillment. Responsibilities Promote and foster a safe work environment Manages strategic planning practices Implements alean approach to materials management including material flow andinventory control Completes demandforecasting and supply planning to ensure the availability of all materials and products at minimum cost Ensure PFEP & capacity planning activities tosupport site/value stream(s) performance Analyzes inventories, develops and executes plans to balance Inventory % of Sales and optimize customer service Collaborates with business partners to optimize customerexperience by utilizing buying and reselling strategies and warehouse management Knowledge of import/export regulations Establishes and implements standard re-order and delivery procedures Balances supply with demand through Sales and Operations Planning implementation and execution with the minimum amount of Parker's capacity Utilizesforecasting tools to create effective demand managementprocesses Employs data analysis andinformation technology to improve site/value stream(s) performance Responsible for part data accuracy (itemmaster) Create development plans for materials management team members and ensure talent pipeline is in place for key functions Qualifications Must have a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Supply Chain or related discipline. APICS/CPM/ISM certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of working experience in Supply Chain in a world-class, high volume manufacturing environment. Application of lean enterprise principles and practices. Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities. Proficient in MS Office applications and MRP Programs Must have ability to build relationships with people at all levels of the organization. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. Job ID: 12530-1A

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
